Black Coyle & McBride Park Project
Wayfinder
For this project, I designed a wayfinding and signage system for Black Coyle & McBride Playground (known locally as Pops Park) in Philadelphia. The goal was to create a clear, welcoming, and community-centered system that improved navigation while strengthening the park’s identity. My work included directional signs, informational graphics, and visual cues that reflected the character of the neighborhood and encouraged people to connect more easily with the space. This project challenged me to think about how design functions in public environments balancing accessibility, legibility, and aesthetics to make everyday experiences like finding your way through a park more intuitive and engaging.
